MCM Jeff Cross Brutalist Bronze Sculptural Wind Chime Bell
MCM Jeff Cross Brutalist Bronze Sculptural Wind Chime Bell. This bell was created and signed by Jeff Cross "JC", 1970s. Jeff Cross is associated with Harmony Hollow Bell works of Ann Arbor Michigan. However he was the founder of the business in Arizona in 1969. It was not moved to Ann Arbor until 1977 after Jeff was found shot to death in the desert near his home. His brother carried on the business and moved it to Michigan. Bells continue to be made in Arizona to this day. This appears to be an original Jeff Cross bell. Harmony is now one of the largest manufacturers of bells and chimes in the United States. Measurements approximately 23" from top of hook to bottom of bell/ringer and 8" around the bottom of bell. The diameter of the bottom of the bell is approximately 18.
Measuring only the bell itself from top to bottom (length) is approximately 6. If you have any questions please message me.
