Wonderful vintage Oak Bureau / Desk. This beautiful English oak bureau / fall front desk is a superb quality piece of furniture being made by Jaycee Furniture of Brighton England and it produced a Jacobean style. It has lovely paneling with carved linen-fold fall front containing oak and mahogany lined bureau compartment consisting of 8 pigeon holes and a small drawer within. The fall front is fitted with a working lock and key, and when lowered down it rests upon a pair of pull out writing desk supports arms with the carved arched Jacobean design top drawer. All 4 generous sized drawers are dovetail jointed and slide out smoothly and finished with nice oak acorn knobs, the bureau sits on bracket feet.
