Handcrafted Oak stable door and Frame. The external frame size measures 828mm x 1900mm. Comes complete with a weather bar set (not pictured). Made from light character grade European oak from FSC sources. Which may contain small knots and some colour variations.
These Oak stable doors and frames are ideal for use height is restricted. Or to be used in garden projects such as summer houses, garden rooms or Log Cabins. They are rebated to open out so as not to restrict the internal space. These beautiful doors are handcrafted in a family run traditional workshop on the Grosvenor estate.
In the Cheshire countryside and because of this they can be made to any bespoke size. Door - Mortice and tenon 44 mm thick frame with 18mm T & G boarding in the centre. Frame - the sides and head are 95mm deep by 43mm wide.
These doors are solid oak. Each section of the door is machined from 1 piece of timber. And not made from numerous pieces glued together. Timbers are planed all round and are supplied untreated.
Every attention to detail is paid to the construction of these doors. Resulting in a high end finish to complement any home. Suitable for both internal and external use. The price includes free P&P.

Apply 5-6 medium coats with a brush to all surfaces including the top, bottom and sides and any cutouts for hinges or lock recesses. Apply 2 coats each spring and autumn thereafter. This is more durable and requires less upkeep. It is clear and UV resistant. Apply 4 medium coats with a brush to all surfaces including the top, bottom and sides and any cutouts for hinges or lock recesses.Apply 2 coats the following spring and autumn. Apply 1 coat each year thereafter. Painting Treatment Plan, Recomended for Sapele. It is self priming and undercoating. Apply 2 -3 coats the following year.
Apply 2 -3 coats every 2 years thereafter. After treatment a seal of clear glazing silicone should be applied on the outside and inside between the glazing beads and the glass.
